the count down continues.....

ok, so I know that it was been awhile...that's nothing new...haha

so, we had a good but busy Christmas. At first I didn't think that we were going to make it to see all the family but, thankfully, we did. Trying to work around 30 ppls scheduels and work...good grief. I have NO idea how it will all work out next year, but I will worry about that when the time comes. As for this year it all went very well. We made it everwhere we were supposed to be and even to work on time!! yey!! ha ha!

As for the wedding, all is going well. I am getting down to crunch time. Me and my mom had a day on tuesday (Dec. 23) to go have a "wedding day". it was nice we got a lot done that really needed to be done. I got to go regeister at my first store that day as well. After, 2 hours and my feet ready to fall off, I had pick out most of the stuff we will need to have and then some stuff that I just really wanted! hehe! I have grown to truely love bed, bath, and beyond! The next step is to get the invites out and the parties started!! hehe :) I can't wait!

A Long Time

So, I am aweful! I just got on here and realized that I haven't blogged since sept! good grief! well, a lot has gone on so I have somewhat of an excuse so here goes...

To say I have been working alot is an understatement! I think I have work 3 to 4 days out of week every week. Thats what I have been put on the schedule as...then usually someone will call and I will cover a shift for them so I work more which is fine for me I need the money.

Craig's granddaddy got real sick at the begining of nov. At first we thought it was just a bug but (long story short) he wound up needing surgery on his intestines and was in the ICU for about 2 weeks then came home. He was in the hospital about 3 weeks. We almost lost him the night of his surgery! THANK GOD he made it through! Thanks to everyone for all the prayers! Thank God for his hand on him through the whole thing! It was an ordeal but he fought through it! He is doing better, and is at home. but he still needs prayer.

The wedding planning has been coming along nicely. If I could ever figure out how to put pictures on here I would be able to out our engagement pictures up. When I figure it out I will be doing that. We have just about eevrything planned thus far. I am really just waiting for the last 2-3 months to get here so I can finsh out the rest of it. I pretty much just need decorations and go through the last meets with the place, cake, food, ect. It will be here before I know it. i am really looking forward to the parties I have coming up. So, I cna hang out with my friends and celebrate!

I am currently sitting in A and T's living room! YEY!! I have missed them sooo much! It has been great visting them! I'm sad that I have to leave on Friday but I have to get back to life and bills....blah! Hopefully there will be a time when I can see them again soon!

Well, thats about it! besides the everyday stuff....I have to get better at blogging more often. I'm goign to have to get A to show me some stuff on here. Anyway, hope everyone has had a great couple weeks!

So this is the LIFE

So, I am currently sitting in Craig's house...he's at work and I am waiting to go over to his mom's house to talk wedding plans and who pays for what and all that jazz. It is sooo quite when he isn't here! hahaha lol :)

Anyway, wedding plans going over pretty smoothly for the most part. I ordered all my flowers last week and they are going to be comming in on wednesday. I'm so excited! I can't wai till we start putting them together. I also picked up Craig's wedding band today. It is soooo pretty! It is going to be se exciting to see him wear it. Craig (and a few other people) think I am nuts for getting some of the "big things that need to be bought" bought already. But, here is my theroy, if I go ahead and get them then I can see how they look and make sure it is right. I don't want to get to the week of the wedding and stuff be wrong or need to be fixed. I just want to get some of it done while I have some time. Because, I know, that month of the wedding is going to be sooooo hectic!!! So, I am going to do it my way!! "I'M THE PRINCESS DAMN IT!!!" haha. I seriously need to get a photographer!!! The girl I want to do it I can't get intouch with!! ugh!! BTW, that is sooooo frustrating!!! I know I have a lot of time...but, still I need to know that I am going to have someone to be there the day of the wedding taking pictures! This was one thing that I really want to put most of myt money into because when I'm 80 those pictures are what I will have to remind me of that day. I know it will get done...but, still I worry. I did however get a great deal on my cakes and my catering!! I think I wound up saving about $1000. I was very pleased! Thanks to Brit! Wow, she has been a great friend and Matron of Honor!! Well, thats about it for the wedding planning. I guess next will be a Photographer and Invitations. BLAH!

Other, than that not much has been going on. Just working my butt off. But, that is no different then anyother week! haha

Work, Work, Work....

Ok, so I haven't updated in a few days...but then again there has been much to update about. I have mainly just been working. But, I have finished my shifts for the week and I am now free till atleast Sunday. Thank God!

Wedding Update: Well, there isn't much to update on..except my fiance "doesn't care about any of the details." Basically, he just wants me to hand him a tux and tell him where to go and what time to show up! I wish I could do that! Blah, oh well. We did have some time last night after dinner to go and look at wedding bands. We found them and I decided to go ahead and buy his so it can be payed off before the wedding....or atleast close. I don't want to be paying on something like that after we are married....I'm sure people do it...but I just don't wanna! :) I have decided that I will be glad I have done all of this planning by the time THE DAY gets here...but it is going to be a pain in the butt until then. I guess I should have listened to "A" when she told me "The court house is a lot quicker and cheaper!" haha yeh, NOW I realize that!

Well, not along post but it's something. I hope to have something more to say next time. Maybe after the weekend is over I will....there is always something that happend on the weekend that is good! hehe.... :)

Life as of now....

Ok, so I'm new to this whole blogging thing. But, my friend "A" got me hooked so I decided to start a blog of my own. So, here goes.



I think I may pull my hair out before this wedding is over. I never thought the bringing of two families together would be so frustrating. WHAT THE CRAP WAS I THINKING!!!! OF COURSE it will be hard!! And all the while as I sit here knowing this will all be hard I keep hoping that it will all get better. Haha!! However, I have gotten a lot done...We have a DATE, which is important!! haha, we have a place, and the dress. Thats it...ok so it's not very much but I'm working on it. "B" has been helping me out a lot. She has been helping me pick out stuff I like and stuff I don't so she is being a GREAT Matron of Honor. It will get done!! Next on my list, a caterer and photographer. Ha....only two of the biggest things in a wedding..well besides the dress.
